Erika Gervin

Principal Designer + Founder

[email protected]

With a relentless passion and appreciation for design, Erika Gervin founded South Harlow Interiors. She strives to blend function and beauty in every space, while maintaining her clients’ personal style. She believes that every room is an opportunity to create a livable work of art.

After graduating with a BA from Southern Methodist University in 2006, she pursued a career in Advertising, where she brought concepts to life through visual creativity. She’s since transferred her skill-set in project management and client services to her work with South Harlow.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Erika later found home in Southern California with her husband and 3 sons. She established South Harlow in 2015, which has since evolved into a full service bi-coastal design firm with locations in both La Jolla, CA and Ponte Vedra Beach, FL where she and her family currently reside. Erika welcomes the influences from her southern upbringing while maintaining an affinity for a more organic modern aesthetic.

The team is currently working on residential and commercial projects, nationally. For more information, please contact her at [email protected].

South Harlow Interiors’ Design Studio is located at 5514 La Jolla Blvd, La Jolla, CA. Please contact us for an appointment or consultation.

Katie Porter

Senior Designer / Project Manager

[email protected]

Katie’s love for creativity and design started at a young age. After pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, she began her career in the design industry working with several boutique firms in the Bay Area. Ultimately, something else was calling her to Southern California…and it wasn’t just the sunshine and tacos! Her journey led her to the laid back lifestyle of Southern California—adopting a coastal, modern, and organic vibe.  Katie’s creativity and passion are coming alive in new ways in her new home here at South Harlow.

Kendall Guertin

Designer / Project Manager

[email protected]

Kendall was born and raised in the Bay Area, where her passion for interior design began at an early age. She attended the University of California Davis, earning a degree in Design, with a concentration in Interior Design and a minor in Art History. After graduating, she found her new home here at South Harlow. Kendall loves incorporating unique shapes, materials and colors to build a room that is a work of art. When she isn’t designing, you can find her at the beach, golfing, painting, or watching her favorite TV shows and movies.

Marquesa Cope

Designer / Project Manager

[email protected]

Florida native and now Jacksonville local, Marquesa Cope has had an eye for design since she was a young girl. After graduating from Auburn University’s Interior Design Program in 2020, she started her career working in architecture and then decided to join the South Harlow team in our Jacksonville Studio. Marquesa’s passion for design is found through her love for people and she feels most accomplished when she has created something curated and unique. If she could choose any decade to live in, it would be the 70s, and when she is not working she enjoys being outdoors or in the water.
